Event Needs:

Climbers, and Individual and Corporate Sponsorship still needed

The Panama City Beach 9-11 Memorial Stair Climb Fundraiser started back in 2011 as a special way to remember the 10th Anniversary of the tragic events that happened on September 11 2001 and pays tribute to the lives that were lost on that day (Firefighters, EMS, Law Enforcement, Military, and civilians). We climb 110 flights of stairs which was the height of the World Trade Center Towers in their honor. All monies raised goes towards the Emerald Coast First Responders Association and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation charities/projects.


Our event is open to anyone that wants to climb: Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, Military, and Civilian, and takes place rain or shine.


On site registration via debit/credit card, Challenge Coin for sale, the ability for climb in honor of a Firefighter, EMS, or Law Enforcement personnel, one set fee no additional processing fee, and the ability to have individual sponsorship (where you have family and friends donate extra money to help sponsor your climb).


Special award given to the person that raises the most extra donations!!


Please email me if you would like to climb in honor of a certain person and I will do my best to accommodate your request. Also email me if you are interested in the individual sponsorships and I will email you the forms you will need to fill out.



Online registration closes Friday September 4th at 5pm CST.

After this day, you WILL need to register in person on the following days:

Thurs. Sept. 10th: (5pm-8pm), Fri. Sept. 11th: (4pm-7pm), Sat. Sept. 12th (8am-9:30am)

Event Itinerary:                                        


Saturday August 29th:

(10am to 12pm):Mandatory Volunteer Meeting at Edgewater Beach Resort Tower 1 (look for signs to find meeting spot)

                          We will walk the property and view the layout and get your task assignments

Thursday September 10th:

(5pm to 8pm): Late on site registration: Get your memorial name tag, t-shirt, turn in sponsorship paperwork, get event wristbands

Friday September 11th:

(4pm to 7pm):Late on site registration: Get your memorial name tag, t-shirt, complete registration paperwork, turn in sponsorship forms,  

                     purchase merchandise, get event wristbands

(8pm to 10pm): Dive in Movie pool side Movie Canceled for 2020

(8:00pm): Movie snacks served poolside Movie Canceled for 2020


Saturday September 12th:

(8am to 9:30am): Late on site registration and check in.

                          Get your memorial name tag, t-shirt, complete registration paperwork,

                          turn in sponsorship forms, purchase merchandise, and get in position for climb

(10:00am): Blessing of the Helmets & Badges Ceremony and Prayer

(10:30am): Climb starts

                 {Up one stairwell, walk over and down the opposite stairwell a total of 5 times each, which equals 110 flights of stairs}

We are going to have a quick lunch after the climb (grilled hamburgers/hotdogs) 

(6:00-8:30pm): FREE Celebration Beach Party with Fire pits and Fireworks, Beach side.  Party Canceled for 2020

Door prizes will be drawn during the climb and the winners will be listed on the prize board. Make sure you check the board
